About Us

Ile Chief Anisulaja was founded by our late Iyanifa Shondra Cheris, a devoted priestess, teacher, and community builder who lived the Yoruba spiritual tradition of Ifa (Isese) with integrity, joy, and deep purpose.

Ifa is a sacred spiritual system that guides individuals into alignment with self and destiny. Through her training under her teacher, Oluwo Fadera Fagbemi, and with the support of our Ile family in Nigeria, Iyanifa Shondra offered guidance to her community through teaching, divination, ebo, and initiation. Her work was rooted in tradition, humility, and a spirit of service.

Beyond ceremony, Iyanifa Shondra had a rare gift for connection. Through her social media platforms, she created a living community—one where learning, laughter, counsel, and collective growth coexisted. In a single live or post, she could teach profound wisdom, share humor, and remind us of who we truly are. One of her greatest joys was introducing others to the beauty, depth, and practicality of the tradition she lived every day.

Through her teachings, she encouraged us to trust ourselves, reconnect with the power within, deepen our understanding of Ifa, and honor our Ori—the inner divinity and personal destiny that guides our lives. She reminded us that spiritual work is not about perfection, but alignment.

We honor her legacy by continuing the work she began: helping others align with their highest self (Ori) and continuing to offer services to the community with the guidance of our Oluwo and our Ile family in Nigeria. Her presence remains alive in the knowledge she shared, the community she built, and the paths she helped illuminate.

“If it doesn’t bring you peace, leave it in pieces.”
